Cole Haan X Staple Design Shoe Launch
FUTR produced and created an experiential event honoring 20 years of Jeff Staple's Staple Design along with the launch of the Cole Haan x Jeff Staple shoe collaboration of the 2.ZeroGrand Stitchlite. The event kicked off with a photo contest between 5 NYC trendsetters (Chris and Clayton Griggs - @thegriggsbrothas, Joshua Joseph - @swordofthemornin, Aaron Pegg - @underground_nyc, Kranston Tennis - @skinnywashere), each of whom created their own unique image of the new 2.Zero Stitchlite on the streets of Soho. Back at the Cole Haan store, guests were treated to a surprise performance by the incredible dancer Yahyl Marchan, whom FUTR collaborated with to create a unique experience wherein he embodied the movements of a pigeon, Jeff Staple's iconic logo. After the 'pigeon dance', guests enjoyed a creative conversation between Jeff Staple himself and Cole Haan's VP of innovation and design, Scott Patt, followed up with announcement of the photo contest winner- Kranston Tennis. Tunes were provided by Marco Weibel of Darker Than Wax, while food and drinks were supplied by Korilla food truck and Hendricks Gin. Photo credit: DXP
