Death To Tennis spring summer 2018 Fashion Presentation
FUTR worked with menswear brand Death to Tennis for their Spring Summer 2018 New York Fashion Week Men's Presentation, creating the storyline and choreography for their Clarkson Square studios show, in associate with CFDA. FUTR interpreted the designer's vision for a modern-day male "peacock" by focusing on the changes in human behavior brought by society's "self" obsession. Themes of narcissism and vanity were explored as models gazed into mirrors, recorded themselves with their phones, took selfie polaroids, and engaged only with their devices throughout the entire show. As the lines between real life and digital blurred, FUTR gave the audience an astute comment on today's condition.
